Well, The Saab Is Gone

I'm not even close to being legally aloud to drive. This was the first car I found myself. After checking once a week for 9000 Aero's, I saw one go way to cheap with low mileage. I started checking about 3-4 times a week on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

On a random Thursday I saw another with even lower mileage. In pure excitement I called my dad twice and texted him in all caps. In the end he bought it back in June of 2013. He changes cars every 2-6 months. Well, he kept it until this morning and it's gone now.

This morning a Canadian guy and his wife came down and looked at the car and bought it. They were true Saab enthusiasts and showed up in a 9-3 Turbo X, and had a manual 9-3 Aero Sportcombi back home.

Yes, the Aero is gone, but hopefully, when it's time for my first car, there will be another in the garage.:)

Well, you've just re-upped my resolve to hold onto my 9000 for longer; it has some rust problems and I don't know how serious it is, but even if it's kinda pricey I'm going to make sure it stays on the road.

Good for you, man!
Ours had 2 pea sized rust bubbles but that was it.
Glad to have a 9000 Aero in the Oppo "family".

Finally gone, eh? Bit of a shame, but it's going to a good home and I'm sure you'll be able to pick one up for yourself. Here's a bit of a tease (and warning!), to keep you going until then. ;)

My significant other, helping me fish out the power steering fluid container cap from the depths of the engine bay on the side of the road at Nürburgring. Also known as: Get a skinny girlfriend with long extremities that doesn't mind getting dirty and burnt on the still hot engine. Or, you know, don't be a dumbass and place anything you remove from the engine bay in a safe position elsewhere. Yes, I know the DI module looks just right for the job, but take it from someone who's done something like this too many times.

Cheers from a fellow 9000 driver. :)
